Are there an account-opening fee required?
Open an account is free of charge. After the margin is deposited, customer can be traded.
Is there a demo account for trial use?
Yes. The demo account uses the same software as the real trading account with identical interface for information and operations, so as to assist you in familiarizing with the operations of the online trading platform and in learning about the investment and trading of precious metals. Please go to the webpage for opening the demo account and fill in the necessary information. Upon successful registration, we will send you the demo account number and password by email or SMS.
What should I do if I forget my account password?
You may download the “Password Reset Form” at www.cghongkong.com and fax it over to (852) 2114 3000, and we will send you the password by email or SMS as soon as possible.
How can I change my account password?
You can select the menu bar on the trading platform "Tools" à "Options" à "Change". "Change Password" dialog box appears, enter the old password and new password, click “OK”. You must close the trading platform and login again with your new password.
Which currency should I use for the transactions?
The account uses Hong Kong, Renminbi and U.S. dollar for the transactions.
Which currencies can I deposit?
Customers may deposit in U.S. dollars, Renminbi or Hong Kong dollars. There is no restriction on the amount deposited.
Is there a processing fee for deposits and withdrawals?
The company does not charge any fee for deposits. However, the bank may collect a processing fee for the withdrawal of margins, which shall be borne by the customer.
Do I need to inform the company after making a deposit?
After making a deposit into our bank account, please retain the deposit slip (bank deposit slip / ATM transfer slip / telegraphic transfer slip / webpage of successful online transfer), and email it together with your name and account number to adm@cghongkong.com or fax to (852) 2114 3000. We will promptly verify your deposit with the bank, and add the actual amount to your account. You may login to the online trading platform to check your deposit status.
How do I ensure security of funds in my account?
Our company is a registered member of the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society (CGSE) with the membership registration number of 140. Our company’s financial status is complied with the requirements in its articles of association, and all customers’ deposits and withdrawals are made through registered banks in Hong Kong, providing absolute security for the funds of our customers.
